We have raised JX SIR CHROME HAYES, without grain, he has only ever had pasture and hay. His progeny will have grass-fed genetics. His daughters (raised on our farm) are also only grass fed.
If you're interested in having live coverage by our bull, here is some information, regarding his services.
1. JX SIR CHROME HAYES is BVD, BLV, Johne's, and Q-fever negative. He is alsoTB & Brucellosis free.
2. We require all cows to have the same negative results, via a CVI (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection) provided by your vet of choice, 30 days prior to your cows arrival to our farm..
3. Be sure to know, your cow's heat cycle. It's recommended to bring your cow 7 days before she goes into heat, and to leave her for 7 days after her heat. So roughly expe t your cow to be on our farm for 2.5 weeks.
