Our cows

All the cows are 100% Purebred AJCA Registered Jerseys. We keep a handful on our family's raw milk dairy, and the ones available for sale are from our families commercial dairies.  All the cows will stand to be hand or machine milked. We take pride in keeping happy and healthy cows. Our cows graze on pastures all year long, and are fed a custom organic non-gmo dairy cow feed. We keep a closed herd, as well as test yearly for cattle diseases. The cows that become available, are because they may not have met the required gallons needed per day, which makes them a fabulous choice as a family Milk cow. 

• Ages between 2 to 10 years old.
• Have calved at least once.
• AJCA Registered.
• A2A2 (casein tested) milk.
• Clean, Closed herd (negative for: Johne's, BVD, TB & Brucellosis). 
• Will stand to be hand and or machine milked.
• Organically fed (non-GMO).
• Once a day milking.
• Cows in milk (giving 2 to 6 gallons a day).

Late lactation means she has been in production for 8+ months since she last calved. And may have been missed (computer error) and was not Bred Back, this happens more often than you'd think when relying on a breeding app/system.

Dry cows. Cows are usually dried off at 10 months from calving. Sometimes they weren't confirmed bred after AI or being placed in with the bull for 60 days. The cow may end up being  bred but due to overhead its more economical to sell as a Dry and unconfirmed (bred), vs incurring pregnancy testing costs. If we've seen the bull mount we can say she's been exposed and not confirmed.

Our vet charges $350 to confirm a pregnancy. This includes site visit fee ($75), palpation, ultrasound, and blood test.

Cows that have been exposed and not confirmed can be tested at Buyers expense. 

Our Jersey cows are very popular, due to their many factors such as they provide A2A2 milk, negative tested herd, and trained to stand to be milked. Due to the number of cows that become available, they sell very quickly.  

Reserve one of our cows here. We ask for $1300.00 to reserve a cow. The fee is $1300 plus credit card fees. $1300.00 will be subtracted from your balance. Be sure to write the tag#. 

Once you have paid your deposit be sure to sign our Livestock Agreement. We are required as a livestock dealer, to have a signed agreement on file for each livestock sold.
